Hello:

I have been working on a market that really needs some attention because we could all stand to make some money, serious money. Plus it is GREEN FRIENDLY and these big Corporate Centers could get Tax Credits if they do Green Friendly repairs.

I am using the Scratch Hog system with Med course pads and backing it out to the Polishing Pad but I am not able to get the glass looking 100% on big 3 x 3 or 4' x 4' glass panels.

In Fort Lauderdale, FL and I am wondering is anyone else trying this around the country. I get the Minerals Deposits off and glass back to 75 to 80%. But the glass was absolutely HORRIBLE when I started meaning you couldn't see through it. What I am having trouble with is the consistency of clarity so I am thinking that I am not staying on the glass with the Pads the right amount of time. So If I use Med disc for 10 minutes do I use teh Disc 1 for 20 minutes? I know that is simple but one glass panel is taking about 4 hours to work on and that is just too much and wears you out.

Has anyone got any better ideas etc....? I have a product from Orgeon that is Liquid product and it says you can use it to take off Mineral Deposits only if the glass is in Stage 1. Well every glass I have tested in way beyond Stage 1. :)

Is there a way to EVEN the Glass out once you dig deep and remove the Mineral Deposits and make it look better so you don't see the fine scratches? IS there a Time Scale that a Med Course Pad should only be used for 1 minute on a spot or 2 minutes no more and then Next Pad should be 4 minutes etc....

I would not use any of the sanding disks.

I have only used the liquid diamond polish, polishing pad, diamond fast powder polishing compound or you can try the Cerium oxide with mineral remover that GT has for water spots.
