I use Glas-Weld , scratches are hard work . I use it mostly for exsisting accounts so theres not a need to call someone else.

Scratch removal is an excellent add on opportunity, but the systems vary widely. Glas- weld and Glass mechanix are only glass polishing systems(a scratch much deeper than 3 or 4 thousanths of an inch is not an option with these systems). The Gt Glass system is a true scratch removal system, but the abrasives(3M trizaks) are reletivly expensive for there durability(I genreally get between 5-15 min per disc). The advantage to a true scratch removal system is that it allows you to do residential and commercial glass. There may be other scratch removal systems out there(I haven't found them yet) but for now the GT system seems to be the best. As for the GW and GM systems, check the prices out , the difference in price is not warrented, both use reletivly the same components, the difference id the colour of the cerium oxide powder. Also E-bay may be a good choice for shopping as a lot of people give up on them, due to the fact that compaired to WS repair, it's actually requires work to do  .

Hi... I'm a novice at scratch removal systems, but am thinking of getting Janvil's product. How is Janvil compared to GT's Scratch Hog in terms of results?

I just got done reading up on Janvil's S/R syst. and even they say they only do shallow scratches and the other company (no name given) does deeper scratches.
Bottom line. You get what you pay for. If this will be you full time income you don't want to be limited in what you can do.
GT does have a system that works. I tryed it and it WILL remove the scratches with out distortion.
Don't jump in half way, get in as deep as you can so you can step up to the plate on any job given.

Do you know how much does the Scratch Hog cost? Don't see the price on the website.
