OK, lots of companies say they can do deep glass scratches with no distortion. Which one meets the following criteria:
1)Fastest - time is money
2)Neatest - noone wants crap flying all over the place
3)Distortion free - not talking about some superfine almost invisible scratch. Talk about deep, ugly, diamond scratches in glass. Can anyone fix that without distortion and fast and neat? So as to make money doing it? Is there a system that meets these quals?

If so, I want it!!

The 3 systems out their are Glass Technology's Scratch Hog, SRP's shatter proof system, and Glaswled's scratch removal system. All of these systems have their strengths and weaknesses.

For the very deep scratches you will have to feather the area to reduce the disortion level. The most effect product for this is the Scratch Hog because of the capablity to move from smaller to larger discs.

Let me know how you fair. :D

You might want to look at Innovative Polishing Systems - www.ipsglass.com. They are a distortion free system (no feathering). When I trained with them we took a diamond file and deeply scratched a mirror. I was able to polish out the entire scratch without distortion (you can’t hide much on a mirror). That’s what sold me on the system. Check the website and give Dave a call.

The polishing process is by its nature messy, but you can help yourself by damming the immediate area with duct tape to minimize splatter and conserve compound. I use plastic painter’s drop cloths with masking tape to cover the general area I am working to further reduce clean up effort and time.

I have some free car wash coupons I give to customers after I polish glass or refinish headlights. They cost me a couple of bucks each and keep me from having to do a super cleaning. I give them out to wsr customers, as well.

Good Luck

I have tried that system. It seems to work very simular to the GW system. It was just too slow for me.
