Hello all, new to the forum but NOT to scratch repair. I do scratch repair/restoration at hi-rise levels via rope, lift, anti gravity boots...whatever it takes.
I know one or two of you guys from other forums...hello to you as well (you know who you are:) )
I am here to learn more, chat more and see more. also..to share what I know to the right folks.
I am seriously interested in the scratch hog....I use a combo system I bought and tweaked...here is the dealio:
My building code has changed resulting in umpteen times the dmage (more fab bebris on the hurricane glass)...and now my system is costing me money faster than making it.
i want to chat with scratch hog users...even if it is the guy trying to sell it. I want the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....
I work mainly for builders who, one day, get a call from the cleaner or the stucco guys...this call educates the builder he (bldr) now has $300K in glass damage. Yesterday damage was one or two or three scratches on one or two or three windows...todays damage is fifteen to twenty scratches on
E-V-E-R-Y......... W-I-N-D-O-W........ yesterdays income was a few hundred per gig...todays possibility in thousands per gig....so, obviously I am open to suggestions.
This niche in construction tends to have guys who want to keep their precious secrets to themselves...not seeing the bigger picture...afraid of so-called competition...which, is non-existent due to the learning curve. (see gbrads post about "how many of us are there")...so, to the person or persons who help me solve my issue in florida...you are also solving the issue nationwide and helping to spread the word about our 'industry"....whci, in turn puts MORE money in all of our pockets (re-read any of your business books)....
so...scratch hog users...step up and swing...lets get some serious chat going about what does ands does not work....
