I had a customer at one of the car lots that had a drivers door window hazing up from rolling the window up and down, You no the ones you can not see out of... I bought some of GT's Liquid Diamond Polish a while back for a job I was to do way back then but the customer moved befor I had a chance to get to it..

I used my Matebo with a felt pad and misted the glass to keep the polish wet. I was done in about 5 min.'s. I was not use how much work it was going to take at first being this was the first one done. So when the customer asked how much I told him 50.00. He did not bat an eye so that is what I still charged... He said he tryed every thing he could find but nothing worked for him.... I am glad I had the polish handy...

I did such a good job on the hazing with light scratches I had to do the whole window to make the rest look good..

I will be looking for side glass jobs now.

Just something for you all to look into also....

My wife has a 2000 4-runner and with the salt air and hard water that we have in Hawaii, it had built up some bad waterspots to where it was hard to see through the glass.

I did the windshield, driver's side window and back window using my scratch hog with the white polish disc for about 3 minutes, then using the foam pad and GT's polish for a couple of minutes and it took of all of the hard water spots. It looks great! Now I have to do the rest of the 4 runner.

CK,

I'm glad that the side lite restoration went well for you.

Cheers,

As time and money pro vales I will need to get the scratch hog. We just don't see to have the call for it at this time in the town I am in.... When I do buy it I will most likley go to GT to get trained so I feel more comfortable. Not that I I am not comfortable with any tool.. just so I am using it properly for each application.

Honestly, all you have to do is make a useful reply, and as long as you are talking about something relevant to the thread, you're welcome to throw your humor in there as well.
