How many of you have a web site? Who is the site provider if you do not mind telling us.

I am thinking of putting a low cost web site together and I see "Go Daddy" and "Yahoo.com" are inexpensive. Do any of you use these sites? and do they get the hits to make it worth it..?

I purchased my domain from Go Daddy; but my site was built by Hawaiian Tel as part of my yellow pages package. I still have to make adjustments to my site. I pay about $60 plus a month but that includes my website and yellow page add.

I don't think this is off topic at all. I don't know if anyone out there is on Facebook, but we created a "page" from there, which may or may not be helpful in your area.

I don't know how many people search facebook for windshield repair options, but it does pretty well at prioritizing the search results to those closest to your network... If you are on facebook or myspace, you may want to create a dedicated windshield repair page.

Feel free to join ours by becoming a "fan" of it on facebook. If you are a facebook member, simply search for Glass Technology" on the Facebook home site, and you'll find our page.

I believe Rory created one on Myspace too. Check into that if you like as well.

As for your business website, I would suggest a local ISP (internet service provider) to see if they can recommend any web masters if you can afford it. A good one should be able to set you up with a page, and provide you with easy-to-interface-with editing controls.

It may cost more money than Go Daddy, but you should be able to tailor it to get higher in search results.

If you just want a simple page though, I hear great things about Go Daddy, but would avoid a free Yahoo or Google web-page. Those are not really optimal for business sites...
