I have been using your " Diamond Clear Acrylic Compound (http://www.gtglass.com/product_detail/214/diamond-clear-acrylic-compound.html) " for removing the oxidization film off the headlights on some of the cars that are just oxidized.
This has worked for me on a lot of the cars if they catch them early and are just hazy. "Cataracts"
By doing this, I am not removing the original seal that came on the lights.
I then coat the lenses with " Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax." I bought a case of it in 1 OZ bottles and give one to the customers with their job and tell to use this to apply every 3 to 6 months as needed. I even use it if I do a complete restore.
I tell my customers it is like us using a sun screen on our self. Our skin is protected from the sun. Same go's for your lights. When you polish your car, polish your lights...
I like to educate my customers as I am working on their autos.
