I took today to do a follow up cleaning on the family head lights. The kid was in for the weekend and her lights needed to be re-polished out badly. I restored them a year ago and not much was done to them sense then. Same goes for the wife's truck. They both look brand new now.
All I used on them was the "Diamond Clear Acrylic Compound" to polish them out and "UV Spray Protechant one one set and "Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax" on the other set of lights.
I bought a different truck and the lights needed restoring on one side, so I had to remove the sealer and then polish them down. I finished sanding using Meguiar's 3000 grit then Diamond clear Acrylic Compound. It took less polishing at that point. I used my cordless drill to polish for 3 min's or so, then Mothers.
Brand new.
Truck goes in for lettering on Wed. morning. Ready to rock and role at that time.
