I am now looking at a DeWalt cordless right angle drill (DW960K-2).
I like right angle drills becuase I have more control using them being close to my work instead of a drill. I see it has the low gear for grinding and the high gear for polishing. The reveiws are good for long run time with the battery and it comes with two batteries.
I may work better when one is only doing one job and there is now power close.

I do carry a Honda 1000 Watt gen. with me but it takes a while to get set up just to do one car. Going cordless may be a good thing.

Now I can dump my older18v Crapsmen tools and switch out to DeWalt with longer life batteries. I have 10 Crapsmen batteries, and only 3 are still going. I did send them in to get rebuilt a few years ago at 35 dollars each. Not again.

As the crapsmens die I will replace them out..

3 working drills, 1 broke
1 skill saw
3 flash lights
only 3 good batteries left.

I bought the Cordless Dewalt yesterday, I will give it my testing in a few days on the next job. I think it will be a good add-on for tools..

I put the DeWalt to work today, and it did a good job. I liked the low gear range for sanding off the old sealer and the high grear range for polishing out the lens.
One battery last for 2 cars.

I just do not like having cords laying around to trip on.

gt,

In my construction business I have all lot of Dewalt cordelss 18V tools; from reciprocating saws, impact screw guns, screwgun/hammer drills etc... I have been buying Dewalt brand products for over 20 years. Even before they made cordles tools.

Having cordless tools makes it more cost efficient espescially the time you will save by not having to deal with the extension or power cords.

Just make sure that you have two fully charged batteries ready to go.

I am already looking for more batteries. Then I have to suck up to my wife, mother in law and the rest of the family for the the rest of the cordless tools.

I do carry the Honda 1000w Generator in case the batteries drain down before the end of the job...
